The campus is located about 2 km (1 ¼ miles) outside the city centre and can be reached easily by public transport.

How to get to Heidelberg

Coming from the A 5, change to the A 656 direction Heidelberg at the motorway intersection Heidelberg; coming from the A 6, change to the A656 at the motorway intersection Mannheim.

By Train Heidelberg Main Station:

Heidelberg can be reached via the Deutsche Bahn intercity connection. For timetable inquiries see Deutsche Bahn.

How to get to the “Neuenheimer Feld”

Coming from the motorway:

Turn left towards “Chirurgie” at the end of the motorway. Having crossed the Neckar on Ernst-Waltz-Brücke turn left to the institutes.

Coming from Neckargemünd:

Follow Uferstrasse, then turn into Posseltstraße; having turned left into Jahnstraße or right into Berliner Straße, finally turn left to reach the institutes.

Public Transport to the “Neuenheimer Feld”:

At the Main Station, take tram line 21 or 24 and get off at “Bunsengymnasium”.
From the old city centre take bus line 31 going to Neuenheimer Feld departing at the University Square.
